Sidekicks in Action: Fisher's Foodland
After launching successfully in several health food stores, Fisher's Foodland became our first "regular grocery store" retailer. Back when we first developed the products (early 2019), local chef and radio personality Michelle Wegner had us on her radio show, and afterward mentioned that Fisher’s Foodland owner John Foley is a big supporter of local food manufacturing, so we reached out, and sure enough, he was open to giving our product a try.
Foodland customers immediately recognized the value of our products, and many now rely on Nutes smoothies as an everyday staple of their diet!
We were recently welcomed into the Sobey’s Local program as a certified vendor, so we look forward to expanding into Foodland and Sobey’s stores throughout Ontario, and it all started with John Foley at everyone’s favourite small supermarket in the town of Cobourg!
